Titanic Gala at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane!

A Night to Remember Gala

Relive the Age of Elegance as First Class passengers aboard the RMS Titanic! Join us for A Night to Remember Gala on April 14, 2018. Davenport Hotel Chef Tom Librande will recreate the ten-course menu that First Class passengers enjoyed the fateful evening of April 14, 1912 before the “unsinkable” ship hit an iceberg and sank on its maiden voyage. Music will provide an elegant backdrop to dinner and conversation, followed by dancing in the Ballroom after dinner.  And get your picture taken in the photo booth

First Class passengers on the Titanic enjoyed luxurious surroundings, sumptuous foods and fine wines, and splendid service. The menu for the Gala is one of two menus that survive from the evening of April 14. The ship’s most famous passengers, John Jacob Astor, Benjamin Guggenheim, Isidor and Ida Strauss, among others, would have been present that evening. Dinner was a protracted affair, beginning about 6:30 PM and lasting long into the evening.

Special guest Mark Lache, Creative Director for Titanic: the Artifact Exhibition, currently at the MAC, will offer special insights about life onboard the Titanic. There will be an opportunity to support the Museum during the program.

Attire: Black tie, with period attire optional

Individual tickets are $150; tables of ten are $1500.

Seating is extremely limited, so make your reservation today!

For more information or questions, please contact Betsy Godlewski, Development Director, at 509-363-5304.

All proceeds from the evening will benefit the mission of the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture.
