Dear Old Nat's Big Band Bash!
Program Description: Calling all hep cats and jitterbugs to join us for a night that will be quite a gas! It's been 50 years now since Spokane’s Natatorium Park closed, but no need to lament on days gone by. Instead, join us at the Museum to relive Nat Park's heyday for one night only! Live music will be provided on the Museum's beautiful outdoors campus by Hot Club of Spokane, our city's very own fabulous eight-piece jazz, swing and blues band. Dress to impress in Big Band era attire,true to Nat Park's thriving decades of the 1930s and 1940s. There will be no-host food and beverages, to include whiskey sour snow cones! (21 and over with ID to purchase alcoholic beverages), swing dancing, and a costume contest! Come bebop the night away! Besides the bash activities outdoors, the Museum’s exhibition galleries will also be open between 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. *Free parking available on the Museum’s Campus.
