Volunteer at the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture ArtFest, May 29, 30 and 31

The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC) is now recruiting community members to volunteer for our annual public outdoor cultural festival:  ArtFest 2009.

ArtFest is an exciting three-day event featuring approximately 120 juried artists, entertaining live musical acts, engaging hands-on kids’ art activities, food vendors, and a festive beer and wine garden.

ArtFest is celebrating its 24th anniversary this spring.
This year’s ArtFest takes place on
  • Friday, May 29(12 pm – 10 pm)
  • Saturday, May 30  (10 am – 10 pm)

Sunday, May 31 (10 am – 5 pm) ArtFest volunteers assist MAC staff by providing basic event information to visitors at our information booth, helping with simple hands-on arts activities in our kids’ Make-It-Art area, or by assisting in our festive and popular beer and wine garden (must be 21 years of age).  Volunteer shifts are three hours in length, though we certainly welcome and appreciate volunteers able and willing to help us additionally.

If you, or someone you know, would like to volunteer for this year’s Art Fest celebration, or if you would like more information, please contact Jillian Foster by e-mail at jillian@jillianfoster.org or by telephone at (509.496.4796). Please remember to leave your name and contact information for Jillian, especially your telephone number and e-mail address (if available).

Thank you for considering helping the MAC as an ArtFest 2009 volunteer!
