Founded in 1916, the Eastern Washington State Historical Society
(Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture) is one of the
Inland Northwest's oldest cultural organizations.
The Society is governed by a Board of Trustees, elected by the
general membership. Membership is open to the public.
VISION STATEMENT
The Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture will be the preeminent
cultural showplace in the Pacific Northwest for the arts, history and lifelong learning
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the MAC is to actively engage all people in the appreciation of arts and culture
through collections stewardship, exhibits and programs that educate and entertain.
